Education Project at Museum of Flight

On June 12th, 2006, Bluebill Ken Porter and eight volunteers chaperoned 42 enthusiastic seventh graders from Asa Mercer Middle School on a visit to explore the Museum of Flight in Seattle. Their task was to find the particular airplane they had each chosen as a research project for four months in preparation for this trip.

Successful completion of their projects was their admission ticket to the Museum and each student was photographed with his or her 'own' aircraft, some of which are shown here.

Ms. Domer, their 7th grade Science teacher, was greatly pleased with the educational experience each student had gained from exposure to Principles of Flight, and expressed thanks for the school bus assistance given by the Bluebills.
